William Brooks is a physicist and mathematician and works in experimental high energy physics. He got his Ph.D. in Physics at Duke University (USA, 1998) and he got his Master in Physics at the same university (1984).

Currently, he is Professor at the Department of Physics of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and researcher at the Centro Científico Tecnológico de Valparaíso (CCTVal).
