Mario Sucerquia

Mario is PhD. in Physics from University of Antioquia (Colombia). His research has focused on various aspects of the formation, evolution and detectability of moons and rings of distant planetary systems, and have resulted in the proposal of possible explanations for some phenomena classified as strangers in the context of the exploration of exoplanets.
He has participated in projects related to the strange behavior of the Tabby star, the unusual light curves of low density planets, the “absence” of clear evidence of exo-moons and exo-rings, the emergence of the “ploonets”, the planetary cataclysms and the detection of giant exocomets.
