The recently appointed Núcleo Milenio de Formación Planetaria (NPF) is advertising two post-doctoral positions in Chile (Valparaiso and Santiago). The project is funded for three years, with the possibility to be renewed for three more years.

The NPF project has two main branches, instrumentation (mirror design at the University Santa Maria in Valparaiso) and research on star and planet formation. The advertised postdoctoral positions will contribute developing the latter, and we are looking for a theoretician (based in Santiago) and an observational astronomer (based in Valparaiso).

Expertise on the topics of proto-planetary disks, planet formation, high angular resolution observations will be considered a plus.
